10 Ideas for the Last 10 Days of 2009 December 21, 2009
The year is almost over, but ten days remain (December 22-31).
More than 240 hours are available (at the time of this writing). How will you use them?
Here are some ideas for improving the value of those days:
- Set a rising time that you can reasonably maintain every day and enforce it rigorously.
- Read a good non-fiction book and identify at least one concept to implement in your life.
- Memorize a chapter of the Bible.
- If you are a musician, learn a new simple composition you have never played.
- Discontinue all monthly services for which you would not now register, knowing what you now know.
- Open a dictionary and identify at least ten words you do not know, learn them, and integrate them into your vocabulary.
- Close all e-mail communication gaps.
- Spend at least 30 minutes outside daily.
- Open a new online savings account for a specific goal and schedule automated monthly transfers to it.
- Use a stopwatch to force yourself to stand and stretch every 30 minutes when working at a desk for extended periods of time.
